... you will begin to find heraldry everywhere!
Once again, I have done it sitting in my living room on my own couch while not even thinking about heraldry at all.
In the little village of Castil de Campos, in the municipal territory of Priego de Córdoba, itself in the southeasternmost end of the province of Córdoba, Spain, is the Mesón Restaurante Balcón de Cheva (Cheva’s Balcony Restaurant and Inn). The restaurant is a highly regarded local fixture in the small town.
Indeed, given that the population of the village is only about 700 people, it would be hard-pressed to not be a local fixture!

Anyway, there I was, watching (once again) House Hunters International on HGTV, and this couple was looking for a home in Castil de Campos, Spain, and some of the filming was done just outside the restaurant, and showed its sign:
You will quickly note, as I did, the two shields on this sign.
On the left (and ignoring the gold edging around both these shields, which appears to be merely a baroque scroll-like framing for the shield), we see: Vert a cross or. On the ribbon beneath the shield: Oníeva.
And on the right: Sable a lion rampant crowned maintaining a mullet [of five points] or. On the ribbon beneath the shield: Luque.

The helmet above the shields with its decorative blue and white "mantling" and "crest" is pretty clearly just artistic and does not belong to either of the coats of arms.
Neither of these shields is of the arms of the village of Castil de Campos, the municipal territory of Priego de Córdoba, the province of Córdoba, the Kingdom of Spain, or any other civic arms from the area.
I suspect they are arms of two families, whether granted or assumed, presumably those of the proprietors or owners of the restaurant.
It continues to surprise me sometimes, that I can just be sitting here in my living room and have heraldry just pop up in front of me like that!
